Huawei confirms Pocket 2 foldable launch, bad news for Samsung?

Samsung is been ruling the foldable phones market for decades, meanwhile, now its competitors are also coming forward with feature-rich devices. One of its recent examples is Pocket 2, Huawei is all set to launch its foldable phone and this might be bad news for Samsung.

Huawei today officially shared the teaser poster of its next foldable phone, which suggests that Pocket 2 a Samsung Galaxy Flip-like device is all set to hit shelves on February 22nd in China. Notably, the company has not released any specifications for the device, but it’s expected to come with cutting-edge features.

Huawei Pocket 2 Expected Specifications 

The upcoming clamshell model is expected to equip Kirin 9000s chip and could be the first Huawei vertical foldable with 5G capabilities. It is reported to feature a 4,520mAh battery with 66W fast charging, 12 GB of RAM, a 512 GB storage and could arrive with white, black, and purple color options.

In appearance, the Huawei Pocket 2 will have a similar design language as the P50 Pocket and Pocket S with bold two circular modules on the back. Thus, it could not beat the current Galaxy Z Flip 5 in design, but there are possibilities that some of its advanced features like satellite connectivity support may attract consumers.
