Wait is Over: One UI 6.1 and Galaxy AI update release date officially revealed

Samsung is bringing its Galaxy AI features to more Galaxy devices through a new software update, One UI 6.1. The company announces the global expansion of mobile AI by enabling users to experience Galaxy AI on previous devices.

One UI 6.1 update will be started rolling out for Samsung Galaxy S23, S23 FE, Z Fold 5, Z Flip 5, and Tab S9 from the end of March. Through this update, users can enjoy the same Galaxy AI experience as the Galaxy S24 series.

Galaxy AI is Samsung’s vision to make AI more accessible and useful for everyone. It combines on-device and cloud-based AI to deliver a range of communication, productivity, and creativity features that enhance the user experience.

Some of the Galaxy AI features include Chat Assist, Live Translate, Interpreter, Circle to Search with Google, Note Assist, Browsing Assist, and Transcript Assist. Additionally, Galaxy AI enables users to express their creativity with features such as Generative Edit, Edit Suggestion, Instant Slow-mo, and AI-generated wallpapers.

Samsung plans to bring Galaxy AI to over 100 million Galaxy users within 2024 and continue to innovate ways to harness the unlimited possibilities of mobile AI.
