Samsung Galaxy A55 5G certified by Malaysia’s SIRIM database

Samsung made a great entry in 2024 with the launch of the Galaxy S24 series and is now planning to bring some affordable models to the smartphone market. Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy A55 5G, which is the latest model to be unveiled has recently been certified by Malaysia’s SIRIM database.

As per the details, the Samsung Galaxy A55 5G has surfaced on the SIRIM database with model number SM-A556E/DS and the certification did not reveal any finer details regarding the device’s specifications. But it confirms that the phone has undergone assessment and supervision and is approved to launch in Malaysia.

Other than SIRIM, the Galaxy A55 5G has been certified by several other databases and is expected to be launched next month with an attractive design, upgraded features, and more. Simultaneously, the device is also tipped to come with a price range of between 35K to 45K in India.

Based on leaks and rumors, the Galaxy A55 5G will sport a 6.5-inch display with 120Hz refresh rate and a 32-megapixel selfie shooter on the front. Meanwhile, the rear may feature a 50-megapixel triple camera setup, a 5000 mAh battery with 25W wired charging, and more.

Under the hood, the device is rumored to feature the Exynos 1480 SoC that is paired with up to 12GB of RAM, 256GB of internal storage and could arrive with Ice Blue, Awesome Lilac, and Awesome Navy Blue color options.
