Notably, this WhatsApp feature was designed to list all channel reports submitted by users, offering them valuable insights into the results of reports they’ve previously submitted to the moderation team.
The new channel reports will help users see the tangible impact of their actions, and feel motivated to continue reporting inappropriate content or behavior, contributing to making the platform safer for all users.
Users will find this option between Terms and Privacy Policy and App info inside the Help Section. With a new section, WhatsApp allows users to get detailed insights into the outcomes of the reports they’ve submitted. Specifically, when the entirety of a channel is reported.
Consequently, users will be able to easily review and monitor the status of reports they have submitted. However, the feature to access channel reports is available to some beta testers at the moment and will be available for users around the world in the coming weeks.
