Samsung Display exhibits wrist phone concept at MWC 2024
At MWC 2024, Samsung Display showed off a ton of interesting new technologies and one most noticeable among them was the concept of wrist phone. With this exhibition, the South Korean tech giant seems to be crossing the boundaries of technology and innovation.
As per the details of CNET, Samsung calls its wrist phone concept the Cling Band, however, it’s like a phone bracelet that transforms from a regular-looking smartphone to a curvy screen that fits around your wrist. Overall, this concept reminds me of the slapping band we carry in childhood.
In the leaked images, the smartphone is shown on the wrist of a user and displays several capabilities such as, a photo gallery, a scrollable display, a running route, and more. A source said that if Samsung eventually puts the Cling Band on sale, then it’ll be available in a shade of lilac.

However, the concept is still in the early stage and currently, there is no confirmation, of whether this idea will come into reality or not. Because, Samsung has also shown us triple folding or rollable display devices. Thus, we could only wait and enjoy the functionalities of Samsung’s foldable and clamshell devices as of now.
