Samsung seems to have big plans for this year, as after the Galaxy Ring and XR Headset, now a new device and the first wearable robot of the firm called Botfit has been unveiled. Simultaneously, Samsung has also shared a plan for the mass production of this Galaxy Ring and Wearable Robot.

According to the input, Samsung Electronics has reportedly established a plan to produce ‘Botfit’, a wearable robot that assists people with walking difficulties. Notably, Botfit completed product development last year, but its mass production orders or schedules have not been confirmed.

But now, the expected volume of Botfit has been shared with partners and Samsung has also announced mass production plans for it. As per that, the expected production volume for BotFit is less than 100,000 units. Being the first product in this category, the initial release volume is expected to be limited.

Whereas, the mass production of Botfit is scheduled to start in the second or third quarter and full release is expected in the fourth quarter or early next year.

Coming to the Smart Ring, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Ring at MWC 2024 and it will launch later this year. Accordingly, the mass production unit of Galaxy Ring is estimated to be around 400,000 to 500,000 units. While, the XR device, competing against Vision Pro, is also set to be unveiled by year-end.
