Samsung has rolled out a major update for its Clock app that brings some of the features and options that debuted with the Galaxy S24 series to older Galaxy devices. The update adds some One UI 6.1 customization and functionality to the Samsung Clock app. It is available for devices running Android 14 and One UI 6.0 or higher.

What’s New for One UI 6.0 Devices

The fresh update of the Samsung Clock app comes with One UI 6.1 features for older devices. It brings the ability to choose a custom background image for each alarm. Users can select any picture from their device or use one of the preset options.

Now, users have a new option to adjust the vibration intensity for each alarm individually. Previously, users could only change the alarm volume separately. This feature gives users more control over how they want to be awakened by their alarms.

Moreover, the update also enhances the World Clock section of the app by showing the sunrise and sunset times for each country. Users need to enable the Show Weather option in the Clock app’s settings to see this information. Also, it brings a smaller size for the timer pop-up window that appears when users start a timer and exit the app.

Additionally, the update allows users who use Samsung’s Modes and Routines feature to set a specific alarm that rings for a certain routine. The update is available for download from the Galaxy Store on compatible devices. Some devices may receive these features with the One UI 6.1 update soon.
