Samsung is working on the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite 2024 model and the device has recently cleared BIS certification, confirming its launch in India. To be mentioned, the new version of Galaxy Tab S6 Lite is expected to bring significant upgrades as compared to its predecessor.

Moving toward the details, the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification website has listed the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite 2024 with model number SM-P625. Other than this, the listing didn’t reveal any specific details about the features or capabilities of the upcoming device.

The verification by the Bureau of Indian Standards hints that the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite 2024 model has gone through all the quality checks and is appropriate to launch in India. Besides BIS, the device has also appeared on several other platforms such as UL, FCC and more.

The Korean tech maker had already launched Tab S6 Lite in the years 2020 and 2022. Due to its grand success, the company is again launching a refreshed version of the tablet in 2024. While most of the specs and features would be the same, but we can expect some improvements in its capabilities.

Based on previous leaks, the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite will come with both Wi-Fi and LTE versions and will support Spen. Simultaneously, it features an Exynos 1280 processor, 4GB RAM and runs on Android 14-based One UI custom skin. Accordingly, the device might be priced under Rs 40,000.
