Google Wallet adds support for 42 new banks in the US
Google Wallet is the app that lets you store and use your bank cards, memberships and passes on your Android device and Wear OS smartwatch. Google has expanded the Wallet app’s compatibility with more banks in the US. In January 2024, 42 new banks signed up to support Google Wallet, making the total number of partner banks to over 3,000.
Now, more users can enjoy the convenience of paying with their cards through Google Wallet, without having to carry them around. Google Wallet also allows users to add their gym memberships, club loyalty cards, and even state-issued IDs to the app, so they can access them across devices.
