We have entered into a new month and Samsung has now only begun releasing the February 2024 Android security update for the Galaxy F13 devices. Notably, it’s an initial rollout and the patch is currently live in South Africa, however, it will expand to more region users soon.

As per the details, the owners of Samsung Galaxy F13 will be able to determine the February 2024 security update through build version E135FXXS5DXB1 and need to install a package of around 150.21 megabytes. Thus, we recommend using an unmetered connection for hassle-free downloading.

Being a regular monthly security patch, the update didn’t carry any new features or major changes for your handy gadget. But it will definitely boost performance, bring improvements, elevate the security and stability grades, and resolve common bugs for an optimized experience.

The security maintenance release of February 2024 contains fixes for 79 CVE items, of which 3 are leveled as critical and 76 as high. On the other side, the Samsung patches include eight Vulnerabilities and Exposures, related to Samsung’s devices and applications

As usual, the update is rolling out gradually and it will be available for users in some time. In case you don’t want to wait for the OTA, then check for the patch manually through Settings > Software Update > Download & Install.
