Samsung September 2024 security patch details

Samsung is one of the leading smartphone makers that delivers timely security updates to its devices. The company has started rolling out the February 2024 security patch to many of its Galaxy phones and tablets, starting with Galaxy Z Flip 3.

February 2024 security patch contains CVE and SVE items to improve the security and stability of the device to provide a better and more secure experience. The update also fixes over 75 issues which mainly resolves problems with Smart Suggestions, Auto Hotspot, and Bootloader.

The security update is being rolled out in phases, depending on the regions and models. Therefore, some Galaxy users may have to wait a bit longer to get the notification. However, users can also manually check for the update by going to Settings >> Software update >> Download and install.

A new One UI 7 testing build for the Samsung Galaxy S24 has been spotted on the server. This new build identified as S926NKSU3BXIC, follows the earlier build BXIB. This shows that Samsung is continuously making improvements and adjustments.
