Motorola is planning to launch its first AI-powered Android phone, the Moto X50 Ultra, which aims to challenge Samsung’s Galaxy S24. The company has released a teaser video on Weibo, showing off the phone’s sleek design and impressive AI features.

Following Samsung’s footsteps, Motorola hopes to attract customers who love the smart and innovative features of AI. The Moto X50 Ultra is the first X-series phone to have the Ultra version, indicating a flagship one.

The teaser video (Smartprix) reveals that the Moto X50 Ultra sports a leather-like back and a camera module in the top left corner. The phone is inspired by Formula 1, promising fast performance and smooth user experience.

Moreover, the video also highlights the phone’s AI capabilities, which could include text summarization, live translation, and AI-based photo editing tools.

Moto X50 Ultra is expected to debut in China first, but it might also go global under a different name, possibly the Motorola Edge 50 Pro. This is in line with Motorola’s previous strategy of rebranding its X-series phones for the international market.

This phone could also boast a 4,500mAh battery with 125W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. It is set to launch soon, and more details are expected to emerge in the coming days.
