Samsung Galaxy S24 series users are receiving a new update with March 2024 security patch in the US and Canada. The update is currently rolling out on the Verizon network in the US and is already available in Europe.

The latest security patch improves the system security and performance of the devices. In addition, it fixes some issues to make the device more stable and reliable. However, the changelog does not contain any new features or changes.

The installation package size of the March 2024 security update of Galaxy S24 series is around 400MB. Users can check new software updates manually with a handful of simple steps. Firstly, visit your Galaxy device’s “System Settings,” once done, scroll down and tap the “Software update” tab, followed by the “Download and install” button.

Before you download, make sure to connect your device to a Wi-Fi network, or make sure it has a strong Verizon wireless network connection. In addition, ensure your battery is fully charged before starting the software update.
