WhatsApp is developing a new feature that lets users choose and manage favorites, however, these selected favorite contacts will be shown in the call tab to place calls more quickly. This new addition will enhance the process of reaching out to the most important contacts and groups.

With the introduction of this new feature, WhatsApp will allow users to prioritize their most important contacts and groups, ensuring that they are always just a tap away within the calls tab. Hence, users will no longer have to scroll through the entire contact list to find their favorite contacts and groups.

As, WhatsApp will add a shortcut in the calls tab, which helps them easily navigate through the favorites section and promptly initiate calls, saving valuable time and effort. To be mentioned, this new addition represents a significant advancement in enhancing user convenience and efficiency.

To use this feature, consumers will need to select their favorite contacts and groups, which will further be listed in a new section where users can call them with ease, promoting quick access to their most important connections. Therefore, users can organize this list by implementing a drag-and-drop.

Not only this, but users can also reorder their favorites according to their preferences. Consequently, the feature to choose and manage favorites is currently under development and it will be available for users with the upcoming  update of WhatsApp.
