After the Galaxy S24 series, Samsung has begun releasing a new software update with March 2024 security patch for the Galaxy S23 series. The update is rolling out in for locked models in the US and the company will soon expand it to more countries.

The fresh update of Samsung Galaxy S23 improves system security and stability by installing the latest Android security patch to provide a better experience. It also enhances some functions of the device.

Users of Samsung Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus, and Galaxy S23 Ultra smartphones can identify the latest March 2024 security update through One UI build version S911USQS2BXBD, S916USQS2BXBD, and S918USQS2BXBD respectively. It weighs 420MB package to install the update.

March 2024 Security Update

March 2024 security update brings a host of fixes and improvements for Android and Samsung’s own software. It fixes 2 critical and 35 high vulnerabilities in Android, and Samsung also adds 9 enhancements to its user experience, such as AppLock, Bootloader, and some services. The patch ensures that your Galaxy device is secure and smooth.

Users can check new software updates manually with a handful of simple steps. Firstly, visit your Galaxy device’s “System Settings,” once done, scroll down and tap the “Software update” tab, followed by the “Download and install” button.
