On One UI 5.1, we had battery stats that aligned the last full charge of your Galaxy device. But with One UI 6.0, the Korean tech maker made some changes in this functionality, which makes Battery Stats useless, however, now we can expect Samsung to bring this feature back with One UI 7.

The upcoming version of Samsung’s Android custom skin based on the Android 15 operating system is expected to bring various significant features and capabilities. Simultaneously, we assume that Samsung should also bring back this Battery Stats feature with One UI 7, as it was the most useful element.

Users on One UI 5.1 software were able to know how much screen time a charge would get them, but after upgrading to One UI 6.0, the stats are aligned with midnight. If you don’t charge your phone to 100% just before midnight, you have no way of knowing directly what screen time a full charge gets you.

Samsung is known to offer its users a relevant experience, so to fulfill the demand of its customers, there are chances that, the battery stats with the last full charge SOT indication would be back with the upcoming iteration of the software.

To be mentioned, the battery stats is a tool included in the Android framework that collects battery data on your device. You can use adb to dump the collected battery data to your development machine and create a report you can analyze using Battery Historian.
