Samsung’s Nearby Devices Scanning app gets SmartThings BLE popup and QR Support

Samsung has released a new update for its Nearby Devices Scanning app, which allows users to discover and connect with nearby Galaxy devices. The update arrives with version number 11.1.15.3 and an installation package size of 8.15MB.

According to the changelog, the update enhances the stability and performance of the app, as well as fixes some bugs that were reported by users. Additionally, the update adds support for SmartThings BLE popup and matter QR onboarding in China.

The Nearby Devices Scanning app is compatible with Samsung devices running Android 6.0 or higher. Users can download the update from the Galaxy Store or they can also check for the update manually by going to Settings >> Apps >> Nearby Devices Scanning >> App Info >> Update.
