Samsung Galaxy S22 series edges closer to One UI 6.1 release in the US

Samsung is gearing up to enhance the user experience for its older Galaxy smartphone users with the upcoming One UI 6.1 update. This significant upgrade is set to introduce a host of new features and performance improvements.

In a recent development, a test build S90xUSQU4EXC5 for the One UI 6.1 has been identified for the Samsung Galaxy S22 series. This build has been spotted by a tweet from @theonecid, indicating that the testing phase is actively progressing in the United States.

The rollout is confirmed to begin this month, initially for Galaxy Z Flip 5, Galaxy Z Fold 5,  Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus, Galaxy S23 Ultra and Galaxy S23 FE. These devices are also eligible for Galaxy AI features.

Samsung has yet to announce an official release date for the One UI 6.1 update for other Galaxy devices including the Galaxy S22. However, it is speculated that the deployment could begin as early as April. Stay tuned for more updates.
