After the successful unveiling and implementation of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, Qualcomm has now teased the launch of its next SoC dubbed Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 for March 18. In addition to the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, Qualcomm could also unveil Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset.

As per the details, Qualcomm has confirmed to host an event to announce new flagship Snapdragon chipsets. The chipmaker is expected to unveil the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 and the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chips during the event, as the company’s latest SoCs.

Notably, the upcoming chip Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 could be marked below the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 ahead of it. The teaser also hints that the next-gen chipsets might be launched with a focus on AI.

Some recent leaks suggest that the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC launching on March 18 could feature a Cortex-X4 prime core clocked at 3.01GHz, four Cortex-A720 performance cores clocked at 2.61GHz, and three Cortex-A520 efficiency cores clocked at 1.84GHz.

The SoC could also come with the Adreno 735 and both the chipsets are reportedly built on the same architecture as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, which was introduced in October 2023.

However, Qualcomm has not shared any further details about its next-generation chipsets yet, but we can expect the upcoming SoC to come with improved performance, advanced tech, and more.
