Samsung’s AI-powered Galaxy S24 series captures global market with record sales

Samsung‘s latest smartphone series, the Galaxy S24, has performed admirably in the global smartphone market. Within the first three weeks after launch, global sales have grown by 8% compared to the Galaxy S23 series during the corresponding period the previous year. This data was provided by Counterpoint Research (via YONHAP).

The company spotted a remarkable 22% increase in sales within its domestic market. In Western Europe, sales rose by 28% driven by strong preorders, particularly in Britain, Germany, and France. Meanwhile, the United States saw a 14% growth in sales.

The premium Galaxy S24 Ultra models accounted for 52% of total sales. The standard Galaxy S24 and S24 Plus followed with 27% and 21% respectively.

Samsung Galaxy S24 series launched in January 2024, which offers several new features and exclusive Galaxy AI. The sales success of the Galaxy S24 series indicates a positive response from consumers and suggests a strong year ahead for Samsung in the smartphone market.
