Samsung Galaxy S22 begins receiving March 2024 security update in the US

Samsung has started rolling out a new update for the Galaxy S22 series, which installs the March 2024 security patch to improve system security and stability. The update is available for locked variants on the Verizon network carrier in the US and the company will expand it soon.

The latest security patch fixes several security flaws including 2 critical, 35 high levels of CVEs for the Android operating system, and 9 SVE items from One UI to maintain the device’s reliability and improve user experience.

You can check the update through Settings >> Software Update >> Download and install. If you have received the update then install it now to take the benefits of the enhanced security and performance.

Samsung is also testing the One UI 6.1 build on the Galaxy S22 series along with several other devices. However, it is speculated that the deployment could begin as early as April as a list of devices will get it in late March.
