Samsung launched the Galaxy S24 series with several refined capabilities, and now some other brands like Apple seem to copying the South Korean tech giant. With the help of the recent report, we can assume that Apple could replicate the Galaxy S24 thin-bezel outlook for its iPhone 16 devices.

As per the details, Apple might reduce the thickness of the bezels that will be applied on the iPhone 16 series. Reducing the bezels of the display will further offer users more space and elevate the experience. The US tech giant plans to apply BRS technology to the iPhone 16 series display.

To be mentioned, the BRS technology is a borderless display technology that designs the border at the bottom of the panel to be as thin as possible. It reduces the bezel area underneath by rolling the copper wires at the bottom upward.

Apple plans to release four models, including the iPhone 16 regular model, Plus, Pro, and Pro Max, and it is reported that all of them will introduce the new BRS (Border Reduction Structure) technology, an ultra-thin bezel technology.

A display industry official said,

“Companies do not seem to view BRS technology as a very difficult technology. It does not mean that the number of common masks in the process will increase, but it can be understood as a slight change in module design while reducing the bezel.”
