A rollable display concept is been in talks for years, but we haven’t seen it in actuality yet. Meanwhile, in a recent development, Samsung has filed yet another rollable display patent. To be mentioned, the new patent has been submitted to the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).

According to the information, Samsung is working on a rollable display and this new patent did not explicitly reveal whether it is for Galaxy smartphones, tablets, or the TV. However, the leaked drawing suggests that it is something like a flexible roll-up or a stretched-out display technology.

In the patent, the device is shown in several ways starting with the stretching out to open it fully. Then another figure focuses on the screen itself and the hinge when it’s open. Furthermore, the hinge of the phone is also shown from the side when it opens and the hinge when the device is closed.
