Samsung is working tirelessly to bring some substantial changes with its next generation of foldable phones – Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6. Meanwhile, a recent rumor suggests the entry of Exynos chipset in the foldable segment with Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 launch.

A reliable tipster @Tech_Reve hints that, Samsung could use an Exynos chipset for this year’s clamshell device the Galaxy Z Flip 6. Furthermore, another source OreXDA also sheds light on the fact and reconfirms the inclusion of Exynos processor for upcoming flippable phone.

By unveiling the Galaxy Z Flip 6 with Exynos chip, Samsung might break its tradition of equipping Qualcomm processors in its foldable models. Consequently, there are some chances that Samsung might be planning to follow a Galaxy S24-like strategy for different markets.

However, Samsung has not yet confirmed the inclusion of the Exynos chip for the next clamshell device and so far there is no information available about the SoC version, which Samsung might be planning to boast on its Galaxy Z Flip 6 upcoming smartphone.

While the Galaxy Z Fold 6 will continue to boast a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. To be mentioned, Samsung usually uses Exynos chip for its A-series Galaxy phones but with the launch of Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24 Plus, the Korean tech giant returned its in-house mobile SoC.
