Samsung One UI 6.1 LockStar app’s recent update temporarily suspended

Back in February 2024, Samsung updated its LockStar Good Lock module to version 6.1.00.4. This update allowed One UI 6.1 device users to move widgets across the lock screen. However, the update is temporarily suspended due to internal reasons.

According to the moderator, the Samsung LockStar 6.1.00.4 update rollout had been temporarily paused due to some reasons. The update was intended to be sequential but ended up being random. Consequently, while the S24 Plus devices received the update, the regular S24 models did not.

Samsung has recognized the issue and plans to release an update in April to improve the widget placement and size adjustment on the lock screen. This will provide even more control over their lock screen layout.

Users are also facing a lock screen clock overlap bug on the LockStar Good Lock module, which causes the clock display to overlap when the screen turns off. The forthcoming update is expected to fix issues and enhance the user experience by offering more customization options for the lock screen.
