Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite gets Android 14 One UI 6.0 update in the US

At a time when consumers are waiting for One UI 6.1, Samsung has rolled out the features and optimizations of the Android 14-based One UI 6.0 update for Galaxy Tab A7 Lite devices. Also, it’s an initial rollout and is currently live in the US, however, it will expand to more region users soon.

As per the details, the Android 14-based One UI 6.0 update has arrived for carrier-locked models of Galaxy Tab A7 Lite at the Verizon network in the US. To be mentioned, this new software brings bundles of new features, functions, and customization options to optimize the user experience.

Launched back in May 2021, the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite offers ultimate performance to its consumers and comes with an 8.70-inch touchscreen display that offers 1340×800 pixel resolution, a MediaTek Helio P22T processor, 3GB RAM, a 5100mAh battery, and more.

Some of the key features of the latest software include more information in the weather widget, a new layout for a quick panel, separate settings for Battery and Device Care, new features in the camera app, modified emoji design, drag and drop with two hands and new options in the calendar app.

In addition, the update also brings a December 2023 Android security patch to maintain device reliability and keep it protected from threats and viruses. Furthermore, the update carries build version T227USQU8DXB4 and can be downloaded through Settings > Software Update > Download & Install.
