Samsung bringing One UI 6.1 and Galaxy AI to older Galaxy devices from March 28 [US]

Samsung introduced Galaxy AI with the Galaxy S24 series, which has been marked a significant advancement in smartphone technology. It provides a bunch of powerful AI tools to enhance the experience. The Korean tech giant has now officially confirmed the One UI 6.1 and Galaxy AI wider rollout in the US.

Samsung is bringing Galaxy AI features to more devices within the Galaxy ecosystem. The One UI 6.1 update, which includes AI tools, will be available from March 28 for the Galaxy S23 series, S23 FE, Z Fold 5, Z Flip 5, and the Galaxy Tab S9 series.

One UI 6.1 update will be accessible on various carriers including AT&T, T-Mobile, US Cellular, Verizon, and more for Galaxy S23 series, Fold 5, and Flip 5 from March 28. On the other side, it will be available for Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra, Tab S9+, and Tab S9 WiFi versions starting this week. Notably, these devices’ unlocked versions will be updated in April 2024.

Live Translate: It is another highly appreciated feature, offering real-time voice translations during phone calls, and reducing misunderstandings.

Generative Edit: The photo editing tool is also favored for its ability to effortlessly modify images, such as removing unwanted elements from the background.

Chat Assist: It is integrated into the Samsung Keyboard and is frequently used for its translation and writing assistance capabilities.
