Samsung expands One UI 6.1 expansion alerts to more countries

Samsung is scheduled to start the One UI 6.1 update for older Galaxy devices including the Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy Tab S9 series, Galaxy Z Flip 5, and Galaxy Z Fold 5 starting March 28. The company has confirmed this schedule several times and is actively notifying users across various countries about the One UI 6.1 update.

After China, the company has now started notifying users in other countries such as India, Europe, Vietnam, and Korea. Additionally, these notifications again confirm that the One UI 6.1 rollout for older devices will begin on the 28th of March.

One UI 6.1 update brings a host of improvements and new features, enhancing the overall user experience. In addition, the above Galaxy devices are eligible for Galaxy AI features. Samsung Galaxy S23 series, Z Flip 5, and Galaxy Z Fold 5 will reportedly get a full Galaxy AI suite.

Aside from these devices, the Galaxy S22 series may soon benefit from AI features, which are currently exclusive to the new Galaxy S24 series. The Korean tech giant is investing resources to overcome the challenges posed by hardware limitations and is preparing to support a comprehensive Galaxy AI experience.
