Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 charging speed revealed through 3C

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 smartphones have been in talks for months and recently the charging of these sixth-generation foldable models was revealed through 3C certification. Let’s dive in and check what charging upgrade the upcoming Galaxy devices are going to get.

According to the information, 3C (China Compulsory Certification) has listed Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 devices with model numbers SM-F9560 and SM-F4710 respectively. Simultaneously, Samsung will equip the devices with a charger that carries the EP-TA800 model number.

It means the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 devices will support Samsung’s favorite 25W charging speed which is the same as their predecessors and other flagship devices. Whereas, the Safety Korea certification also revealed that the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 will be backed by a dual-cell battery setup.

But it’s quite surprising that the South Korean tech giant is not intending to introduce enhanced charging capabilities for these next foldable flagship devices. As per previous leaks and rumors, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 packs a 4,600mAh battery, while, the Galaxy Z Flip 6 may brag a 4,600mAh battery.

It’s worth mentioning that the EP-TA800 charger that is going to be used for upcoming foldable charges at 15W (5V/3A), 25W (9V/2.77A), 10W-18W (3.3-5.9V/3A) and 7.5W-25W (3.3-11V/2.25A) modes.
