Google brings packs of noteworthy features with the launch of every new iteration of the Android operating system and the same goes with Android 15. Yes, Google is planning to bring significant improvements with Android 15, including the redesigned Volume Panel UI.

As per the details of Android Authority, Google will add significant tweaks to the entire Volume Panel with Android 15 and elevate the experience of Pixel device owners. As controlling the volume panel of their gadgets will become even more intuitive and user-friendly.

As of now, pressing on the volume key opens a Volume Panel that retains five sliders in a row to control media, call, ring, notification, and alarm volume. It offers a clean and clear look with small icons alongside a thin slider and a round dot to control the volume level of each segment.

But with Android 15, the user interface will change a lot, as the thin line will be converted into a massive and much thicker pill-shaped slider. There will also be a dot at the end of the bar to show the maximum volume limit, while, the tap on the icon will quickly mute the stream.

Not only are the UI tweaks, but Android 15 will also make the volume panel collapsible with just a single tap on the button next to the media volume slider. It’s worth noting that, with sleeker sliders and updated icons, adjusting the volume on your Android device will be a pleasure.
