YouTube Music revamps its share sheet interface

YouTube Music for Android has been updated with a new design for its share sheet to make it more user-friendly. The new interface of the sheet moves away from the grid layout that covers almost the whole display and introduces a fresh one that makes it easier to share content with one hand.

Instead of a larger grid-based layout, Google provides a fresh look to the YouTube Music Share Sheet with a carousel that shows around five sharing options at a time. Although the new design is more compact, it may require users to swipe more if they wish to share with several apps.

The new layout features two main buttons – “Copy link” and “Share with other apps.” The Copy link button allows users to quickly copy the URL of the content, while the “Share with other apps” button provides access to the device’s system share options. This new design of Share Sheet is already available for iOS devices and now Android users can also enjoy it.
