In today’s fast-moving world of technology, clear communication is essential. For that, Samsung has introduced the ‘Control Mic Sound’ feature in the Galaxy S24 series with One UI 6.1. This feature uses AI-based technology designed to improve call quality.

One UI 6.1 Control Mic Sound feature is especially beneficial in noisy environments, where it amplifies the caller’s voice and reduces background noise, ensuring that conversations remain clear. Users of Galaxy devices can easily activate the mic mode feature through a notification panel.

How to set Mic Sound for better calls

To use this feature, follow these steps during a call:

  • Swipe down to open the Notification Panel during a call.
  • Expand the notification panel and select ‘Mic Mode’.
  • Adjust Mic Settings:
*Choose between ‘Standard’, ‘Voice Focus’, or ‘Full Spectrum’.
*Voice Focus concentrates on your voice, while ‘Full Spectrum’ captures both your voice and the surrounding sounds.

By focusing on the user’s voice, the Control Mic Sound feature reduces ambient noise, making every conversation as clear as if it took place in a quiet setting. Users can now enjoy uninterrupted and clear calls, regardless of their environment, thanks to the One UI 6.1 update.
