Following the Z Fold 5 launch last year, Samsung’s R&D Campus in South Korea displayed many Galaxy Z Fold prototypes. One of those prototypes featuring a 22:9 proportion is said to be adopted by Samsung for the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 6.

Tipster IceUniverse leaked the dimensions of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 (standard version). The device could be 5.6mm thick when unfolded and 12.1mm thick in folded state. The source recently revealed that the device is expected to be radically lighter, weighing 239 grams.

Ice also mentioned that the external screen of the Z Fold 6 measures 7.6 inches (7:6) whereas the cover screen measures 6.3 inches (22:9). The company will fuel the device with upgraded inner and cover screens featuring improved resolution.

The same source also confirmed that the Ultra variant also exists. However, the dimensions and parameters of the device still remain a mystery. We could see a different form factor on the Z Fold 6 Ultra as well as a dedicated S Pen silo, which the regular model could miss.
