MKBHD joins Samsung to showcase Galaxy S24 Ultra’s anti-reflective screen
Samsung’s Galaxy S24 Ultra is the only smartphone that sports anti-reflective screen tech. When compared with Galaxy S24 Ultra, flagships like iPhone 15 Pro Max and Google Pixel 8 Pro appear dull and reflect light whether it’s sunlight or indoor light.
Thanks to Corning’s Gorilla Armor glass tech, the S24 Ultra stands apart. Samsung missed a golden opportunity to advertise this notable upgrade in its very initial ads. However, the company has finally decided to promote S24 Ultra’s unique anti-reflective screen.
Samsung collaborated with YouTuber Marques Brownlee aka MKBHD as well as John Bayne, Corning’s SVP, Mobile Consumer Electronics. The company published a dedicated video highlighting the groundbreaking tech behind the anti-reflective screen of the S24 Ultra.
Corning says the new Gorilla Armor reduces glare by up to 75% and it’s also 4x more durable than the conventional glass. There were rumors that Apple would be able to bring this tech to the iPhone 17 lineup next year, with iPhone 16 to continue to bring old glass tech.
