Samsung has begun releasing the April 2024 security update for Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 smartphones. The update is currently available in Europe and the company will soon make it available in more countries.

Users of Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 are getting the April 2024 security update through the One UI builds mentioned below.

April 2024 security patch includes fixes from Google and Samsung. Google’s update mends one critical and 26 high-priority Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVEs) in the Android OS. Additionally, Samsung has enhanced device security by resolving 17 specific vulnerabilities, improving safeguards against various software issues.

These foldable devices recently received One UI 6.1 update with Galaxy AI suite, and they are now getting the first update based on One UI 6.1, which enhances the overall performance and fixes some issues that users encountered in the previous version.

To check the update, you just need to navigate to the device’s Settings, then a Software update, and Download and install. If you have received the update, install it now to get enhanced features.
