Spotify Beta Unveils AI Playlist Feature for Premium Users

Spotify has introduced a new feature called AI Playlist for its Premium users of Android and iOS devices in the UK and Australia. This feature is currently available in the beta version and the company may soon release it for stable users as well.

AI Playlist feature allows users to create custom playlists using artificial intelligence. By entering a description of the type of music they want into the chat, users can generate playlists that match their mood or activity. The most effective playlists are created with a combination of genres, moods, artists, or decades.

To use the AI Playlist, users need to open the Spotify app >> navigate to Your Library >> tap the “+” button >> select “AI Playlist. Now, users can enter a prompt and Spotify’s AI will suggest songs. Users can preview, delete, or adjust the songs to refine their playlist. By tapping on the Create option, your new playlist will be saved automatically in Your Library.

While the tool is in beta and limited to music-related prompts, Spotify is working on improving it. The company aims to provide music that fits every moment and sees AI Playlist as a step towards that goal.
