WhatsApp introduces Contacts Suggestion feature to start chatting with new contacts
WhatsApp is improving its messaging service by bringing a new feature “Contacts Suggestion” in the latest beta version 2.24.9.5, which suggests new contacts for users to message. This feature enhances engagement by recommending new people for users to connect with, directly from their address book.
The latest beta update of WhatsApp adds a section “Start Chatting” at the bottom of the chats list where users can find suggestions for new conversations. This is mainly useful for those who have not yet interacted with specific contacts, as it encourages the start of new conversations.

Initially spotted in a previous beta 2.24.7.23, the Contacts Suggestion feature of WhatsApp is now accessible to beta testers. This feature aims to enhance the user experience by recommending contacts from the user’s address book that they have never messaged before.
This feature is especially beneficial for new users, who will see these suggestions when they first register with WhatsApp, simplifying the establishment of new connections from the outset. This feature will be available to more users in the coming weeks.
