Over 70% Samsung Pay users switched to Wallet in South Korea
Samsung Wallet hits 70% deployment among Samsung Pay users in South Korea. Samsung brought the Wallet experience to South Korea about three weeks back and announced that more than 70% of Pay users have switched to Wallet.
The Wallet app’s mobile ID feature has taken center stage, leading to a fast conversion rate. Samsung Wallet conversion rate for the 1020 generation reaches 75%. The service also conducts promotions such as discount coupons in various industries.
Last month, Samsung launched the Samsung Wallet in South Korea, which features a mobile driver’s license and a national veterans registration card. The mobile driver’s license can also be used for voter identification in Korea’s 22nd National Assembly election.
A Samsung official said, “Samsung Wallet’s various additional features are rapidly changing users’ daily lives,” and added, “We hope you will experience the era of electronic wallets that have become safer and more convenient with various lifestyle functions.”
