US carrier and unlocked Galaxy Z Fold 5, Flip 5 get April 2024 security update
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 users are getting the April 2024 security update in the US, following its release in Europe. The update is rolling out for carrier and unlocked US models. These devices received One UI 6.1 update in late March 2024.
April 2024 security update is available for locked models of Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 on the Verizon network carrier in the US while unlocked models are receiving it on almost all carriers including T-Mobile.

As per the official changelog Samsung published for the April 2024 security patch at the beginning of the month, several fixes are included in the release. 27 of those vulnerabilities fixes are related to Google’s software and the remaining 17 are Galaxy-specific issues and vulnerabilities.
If you have received the notification of the update then install it now to get a bug-free experience. You can also check the update by visiting the Settings app on your smartphone and opening the Software Update section.
Now, click on the Download and install option. If any update is available, you can follow the on-screen instructions to install the update on your Galaxy smartphone.
