13 Samsung Galaxy devices may get One UI 6.1 and select AI features in May 2024

Samsung acknowledges the delay of the One UI 6.1 update for the Galaxy S22 series and apologizes to customers who have been patiently waiting. In addition, the company has reportedly announced the One UI 6.1 update schedule and Galaxy AI features support for 13 more Samsung devices including the Galaxy S22 series.

According to the screenshot available on the community, the Korean tech giant is going to release the One UI 6.1 update for the Galaxy S22 series, Z Fold 4, Z Flip 4, Galaxy S21 series, Z Fold 3, Z Flip 3, and Galaxy Tab S8 series in early May 2024. However, these devices will have different AI capabilities.

Samsung Galaxy S22 series, Z Fold 4, Z Flip 4, and Galaxy Tab S8 series devices are expected to receive Galaxy AI features comparable to those found in the Galaxy S23 FE models with One UI 6.1 update.

Moreover, the One UI 6.1 update will introduce innovative AI features like Circle to Search and Live translation to the Galaxy S21 series, Galaxy Z Fold 3, and Galaxy Z Flip 3 smartphones.

These 13 Samsung Galaxy devices are scheduled to get the Android 14-based One UI 6.1 in early May 2024. This update promises to elevate the user experience of these devices’ users with advanced AI capabilities.
