Samsung is preparing to launch the Galaxy M55 5G in Europe. The company has recently brought this M series phone to India, which boasts a Snapdragon chipset, in-display fingerprint scanner, 45W fast charging support, and a pro-grade screen.

According to GalaxyClub, Samsung published Galaxy M55 5G support pages in some European countries. The outlet discovered evidence, hinting at Galaxy M55 5G’s imminent arrival, on the Samsung support site in Poland, Portugal, and Switzerland.

Expected price:

  • Portugal: €500 for 128GB | €550  for 256GB
  • Switzerland: €400 for 128GB

Galaxy M55’s European variant carries model number SM-M556E. As the support pages are in development, we expect the phone to go official within a month. Thanks to the official debut in India, we now have a clear idea of the specifications and features of the device.

The M55 5G has a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. It uses a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chip, paired with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. Despite being a Snapdragon chip, the M55 5G reportedly lags behind Exynos 1480 powering the A55 5G.

45W fast charging support in the Galaxy M55 is another key upgrade that the A55 lacks. Regarding software, the device will come pre-installed with Android 14-based One UI 6.1. The company will provide four years of OS upgrades and five years of security patches.
