Samsung has rolled out the April 2024 security update for Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy S21 series, and Galaxy S21 FE smartphones in the US. The update enhances the security and stability for a better user experience.

April 2024 security update is rolling out for unlocked models of the Galaxy S21 series while locked variants of S21 FE and S23 FE getting this update in the US. The company will soon expand this update to more countries.

The fresh security patch fixes issues to improve system security and stability. In addition, it enhances some functions to provide smoother performance.

April 2024 Security Patch Details:

April 2024 security patch details include patches from both Google and Samsung to address vulnerabilities and bugs. Google patches 1 critical and 26 high-level CVEs for the Android operating system.

In addition, Samsung has also addressed 17 Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposures (SVE) items to enhance security. It fixes issues related to Storage Manager Service, Out of bounds write, and more.

How to Update:

Samsung users can check new software updates manually with a handful of simple steps. Firstly, visit your Galaxy device’s “System Settings,” once done, scroll down and tap the “Software update” tab, followed by the “Download and install” button.
