Fan Editions of Galaxy S23 and S20 getting April 2024 update at Verizon

Samsung is releasing a new update with the April 2024 security patch for Galaxy S23 FE and Galaxy S20 FE smartphones on the Verizon network carrier in the US. The new update improves the system’s security and stability to enhance the overall performance.

The latest patch fixes over 40 issues to make the smartphone more secure, stable, and reliable. It mainly resolves problems related to Storage Manager Service, Out of bounds write, and more.

April 2024 security update for Samsung Galaxy S23 FE arrives with One UI build version S711USQS3CXD2 while S20 FE smartphone is getting it with PDA version G781VSQSDHXD2 on Verizon in the US. The company will soon make this update available in all eligible markets.

You can check the update by navigating to the device’s Settings, then a Software update, and Download and install. If you have received the update, install it now to get enhanced features.

Before you download, make sure to connect your device to a Wi-Fi network, or make sure it has a strong Verizon wireless network connection. In addition, ensure your battery is fully charged before starting the software update.
