Samsung’s software team has reportedly begun One UI 6.1.1 development. The same source revealed that the Galaxy AI in One UI 6.1.1 will debut the “Video AI” feature. Besides the feature’s name, the leakster hasn’t detailed its functionality.

For the next set of flagships, Google and Samsung are working on Gemini Nano v2. The upgrade will be introduced with the Pixel 9 series later this year, and the Galaxy S25 series early next year. Meanwhile, Samsung’s custom skin is said to bring some new AI features in July this year.

Galaxy AI’s Generative Edit feature is awesome, but works with photos only. Instant Slow-mo is also exciting but it just ends the need for editing by an external app. However, Video AI integration might mean to text to video generation or real-time generative editing.

The Generative AI capabilities available for photos might expand to videos. While these are just our own assumptions, Samsung might also bring AI-powered video shooting features. It would excellently enhance the camera functionality of the phones.

Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Z Fold 6 on July 10 in Paris. This timeframe aligns right before the Olympics 2024 kickstart in Paris, France. The Z Fold 6 Ultra is also said to be in the works with a Korea launch exclusivity rumor.
