Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 begins receiving One UI 6.1 and Galaxy AI features

After the Galaxy Tab S9 series in late March 2024, Samsung has now started rolling out the One UI 6.1 update for the Galaxy Tab S8 series. The fresh update arrives with new Galaxy AI features, Call & message continuity, and improvements to user experience and performance.

One UI 6.1 update with Galaxy AI for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 series can be identified via the PDA version ending with CXE2. This update is available in the US and Europe. The company will soon expand this update to more countries.

One UI 6.1 and Galaxy AI Features

One UI 6.1 features let you make calls and send texts from any device, switch between them easily, and even continue conversations on another paired phone and tablet. Just sign in with your Samsung account.

You can use Circle to Search for quick info about what’s on your screen. Chat Assist improves your writing and translates messages. Also, Interpreter helps you talk to locals in different languages.

Note Assist and Transcript Assist summarize and translate your notes and recordings while Browsing Assist does the same for webpages. Additionally, create unique wallpapers with Generative Wallpaper. All you need is Wi-Fi and to download language packs.

You can check and install the update through Settings >> Software Update >> Download and install.
