Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 to get Wear OS 5 One UI 6 Watch update

Samsung is preparing to release a major update for its smartwatches, which will include the latest Wear OS 5 and One UI 6 Watch. Meanwhile, the company has reportedly started internally testing the One UI 6 Watch update for the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 series.

A piece of new information (via Theordysm) reveals that One UI 6 Watch test firmware for the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 Classic has already made an appearance on Samsung’s servers. This firmware can be identified by version R895USQU1IXD1 and is currently undergoing testing for the US variant of the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic.

One UI 6 Watch update is expected to bring improvements to the user interface and overall functionality of Samsung’s smartwatches. Users are looking forward to experiencing the new features and enhancements that will come with the One UI 6 Watch update.

One UI 6 Watch Beta 

Samsung to soon introduce One UI 6 Watch Beta Program for Galaxy Watch 6 and Galaxy Watch 6 Classic. Through this, users can enjoy the new feature on their watches ahead of the stable update. The Beta release may initially be available in South Korea and the US, with an official announcement anticipated soon.

The Galaxy Watch 7 series is expected to launch in July and will likely be equipped with Wear OS 5-based One UI 6 Watch. The new software may include new features such as blood-sugar monitoring.
