Samsung is expanding the May 2024 security update for Galaxy S21 FE and Galaxy Z Fold 4 smartphones in Europe. This update enhances the security and stability to enhance the overall performance.

The update focuses on security improvements, addressing critical and non-critical vulnerabilities in both the Android OS and Samsung’s One UI. It also enhances some functions to provide a better experience.

Samsung Galaxy S21 FE is getting a May 2024 security update with One UI build version G990B2XXU7GXE1 and 332.10MB. Users of this smartphone already received a fresh security patch in the US.

Identified via version F936BXXU7FXE5, the fresh update for Galaxy Z Fold 4 smartphone brings advanced 4G band support to improve connectivity options for users. This update is already out in India and the US. The installation package of this update is around 442.53MB

Notably, there’s a limitation for German users. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 models bought in Germany will not support LTE TDD band signals in certain countries, including Belgium, Denmark, France, Luxemburg, Netherlands, Austria, Poland, Switzerland, and the Czech Republic.

Users can check new software updates manually with a handful of simple steps. Firstly, visit your Galaxy device’s “System Settings,” once done, scroll down and tap the “Software update” tab, followed by the “Download and install” button.
