LineageOS 21 is here with Android 14 for Galaxy S20 FE

Samsung Galaxy S20 FE users can rejoice as Android 14 arrives with LineageOS 21. The custom ROM brings the latest operating system to your beloved smartphone. It won’t arrive over the air, but you need to install it manually through custom recovery.

Following the official upgrade schedule, the Galaxy S20 FE received all of its major upgrades. It ended its major upgrade support on Android 13-based One UI 5. Despite being a popular flagship killer from Samsung, it missed out on features of One UI 6.

As LineageOS 21 is officially launched for Galaxy S20 FE, you can download and install it, starting today. Do note that you won’t be getting the One UI 6 novelties with LineageOS 21. However, most of the Android 14 features and advancements of the LineageOS will be available.

Android 14-based LineageOS comes with a new device setup flow, an improved calculator app, changes to the default camera and gallery apps, lots of UI tuning, plus performance and stability improvements with the Android 14 operating system.

Samsung launched different variants of the Galaxy S20 FE. The US model is equipped with a Snapdragon chipset, while the international model packs Exynos. Before flashing, do note that any mistake would lead your device to get bricked, therefore, proceed carefully.
