Samsung Galaxy S22 users in India receive May 2024 update

Samsung is expanding the May 2024 security update to the Galaxy S22 series in India. The update elevates system security and stability by installing the latest Android security patch.

May 2024 security update is already available in the US, Korea, the Middle East, and Europe, and is now making its way to Indian variants of the Galaxy S22, S22 Plus, and S22 Ultra.

The fresh update addresses 45 security issues and vulnerabilities. This update also promises enhanced system stability, ensuring that users experience no interruptions, crashes, or lags. It improves some functions to provide smoother performance.

The latest firmware versions for the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 Plus, and Galaxy S22 Ultra are S901EXXS9EXE4, S906EXXS9EXE4, and S908EXXS9EXE4, respectively.

To access the May 2024 security patch, Galaxy S22 users in India can navigate to their device settings, select the Software Update menu, and tap ‘Download and install’.
