Samsung Galaxy F13, F62 grab May 2024 security update

Samsung has initiated the May 2024 security update rollout for its Galaxy F13 and Galaxy F62 models. The update is available in India for these devices, with plans to expand shortly.

May 2024 security update for the Galaxy F13 is identified by One UI build E135FXXS6DXE2 and is approximately 160MB in size, while the update for the Galaxy F62 carries version E625FDDS6CXE2 and is around 200MB.

The latest security patch is significant as it resolves 45 security issues. Google is addressing 33 vulnerabilities, which include 3 critical and 26 high-level threats. Samsung has also included 25 enhancements specific to its devices, focusing on improving features like the Secure Folder and the multitasking framework.

This update protects from possible bugs and viruses to ensure the smartphones operate smoothly. Samsung advises all users to install the update immediately to benefit from the new security measures.

For update installation, users should navigate to their smartphone’s settings, select ‘Software Update’, and then ‘Download and install’.
